Overview
This is the standard way to Kanchenjunga's North Base Camp. From Kathmandu, a flight to Bhadrapur and jeep transfer reaches Sekathum. The trail climbs through Amjilosa, Gyabla, and Phale to Ghunsa for the first acclimatisation stop. Above Ghunsa, the route continues through Khambachen — with a side trip to the Janu Viewpoint — to Lhonak, staging for the day hike to Pangpema. The descent retraces the same route back to Sekathum.
Highlights
- Kanchenjunga's North Base Camp — a genuine walk-in base camp
