Overview
This is the itinerary for trekkers who've already done Everest Base Camp — maybe more than once — and want to see everything the Khumbu has to offer in a single continuous trip. It links every major destination in the region into one grand circuit: the standard EBC corridor to Lukla, the Gokyo Lakes valley, and the remote Chukhung Valley, connected by three high-altitude passes that each exceed 5,000 m. Kongma La (5,535 m) connects the Chukhung Valley to the main Everest trail near Lobuche; Cho La (5,420 m) links Gokyo to the same corridor; and Renjo La (5,388 m) returns from Gokyo to the Namche side via the quiet Thame valley. Between the passes, the itinerary visits Everest Base Camp, climbs Kala Patthar, spends a morning at Gokyo Ri, and passes through Tengboche Monastery, all in a single continuous loop that never once repeats a trail segment. Twenty days, three 5,000 m-plus passes, and a level of cumulative altitude gain that demands real respect — this is the most complete single document of the Khumbu region in this entire series, and it has been built to match the scale of the undertaking it describes.
